Make sure your wrist shaker is in range
If your wrist shaker is not in range, it won’t work. You can tell it’s out of range
when the large light flashes green and red. If this happens, you need to move
closer to your PowerTel phone for your wrist shaker to work.
Battery low
If the battery is low, the large light will turn red and will flash. You need to place
the wrist shaker in its charger base for 10 hours to charge the battery.
Incoming calls
When you receive an incoming call, the green light will flash and the wrist
shaker will vibrate.
You can answer the call by pressing the large emergency button in the mid-
dle of the wrist shaker. You will need to make sure you are within range of your
PowerTel phone to do so (see above ‘Make sure your wrist shaker is in range’).
You cannot speak to your caller via the wrist shaker. Once you’ve pressed the
emergency button on the wrist shaker, your PowerTel phone will answer the
call in handsfree mode so that you can speak to your caller via the Powertel
phone without picking up the handset.
To end the call, just press and release the emergency button again.
Note: The SOS Motor feature must be turned on for the wrist shaker tovi-
brate. See page 16 for instructions.
