TROUBLESHOOTING
5.2.1 Printing Test
To
check
for
proper communication between
the
terminal
and a
printer attached
to it, use
the
following test.
NOTE:
before
doing
the
test,
make sure
the
terminal
is NOT
connected
to a
host
or to a
modem.
1.
In
Set-Up (Line
1),
choose BLOCK mode.
2.
Press
SHIFT/S
to
save
the
choice.
3.
Type
in
several lines
of
text.
4.
Press
the
PRINT
key to
print
the
text.
If the
printer prints
all
data from
the
HOME
position
to the
cursor position, everything
is
okay.
If
something else happens,
refer
to
the
Troubleshooting list above.
