Received
data scrolls only
on the
current
page,
i.e.,
the
page
on
which
the
cursor
is
located. Thus,
the
size
of
a-page
determines
how
much
new
data
can be
stored before
existing
data
is
lost.
The
size
of a
page (and thus
the
number
of
pages
in
memory) depends
on two
choices:
the
number
of
lines
per
page
and the
number
of
columns
per
line.
