-stdout <
output_spec>
Specifies the output fields written to stdout. You must provide both -stdout <output_spec>
and -log <log_spec> arguments except when using the -help argument.
The -stdout <output_spec> argument supports the following keywords:
%service Specifies service statistics (see Appendix E, Table E-1).
%optm Specifies transport module operational statistics (see Appendix E,
Table E-2).
%opem Specifies electronics module operational statistics (see Appendix E,
Table E-3).
%msrs Specifies diagnostic status (see Appendix D).
-log <
log_spec>
Specifies the type of statistics values to retrieve from the drive. You must provide both -log
<log_spec> and -stdout <output_spec> arguments except when using the -help argument.
The -log <log_spec> argument comprises a single-element specification. The element must
contain one of the strings listed below; i.e., :string:.
Def_threshold String that returns the default threshold parameter values.
Def_cumulative String that returns the default cumulative parameter values.
Threshold String that returns the threshold parameter values.
Cumulative String that returns the cumulative parameter values.
ENVIRONMENT
The $TAPE environment variable specifies the tape device to use if the
-f <device_special_file> option is omitted.
EXIT STATUS
The dd2 utilities use the following exit status codes, and may also produce output to -stdout
on success:
0 Operation succeeded.
nonzero Operation failed.
A nonzero return value describes the error encountered error during processing (see “Exit
Status” on page 6-5).
