-stdout
<output_spec>
Specifies the output fields written to stdout. You must provide a -stdout <output_spec>
argument for this utility (except when using the -help argument).
The -stdout argument supports the keywords listed below. Each field can display in verbose
or non-verbose style, depending on the keyword specified. Non-verbose style displays only a
value; verbose style replaces the value with a descriptive string. If the data for a particular
keyword is not available
, na displays instead of the value (or string) for that keyword.

%v_chs_mode
1 : Online
2 : Offline - Manual
3 : Offline - Sequential Loop
4 : Offline - Sequential Once
%chs_posn DST 412 - Displays a decimal value or string indicating the
%v_chs_posn current position of the CHS; i.e., parked (
0) or the address or name
of the storage bin positioned in front of the drive (
1000–1006 /
A01-A07).
DST 712 - Displays a decimal value or string indicating the address
or name of the location at which the cartridge handler is positioned:

2000–2001/ T2000 - T2001)
Storage Bin (
5000 - 5114/ S5114) (maximum number of bins)
IMEX bin (
10 - 11/ P10 - P11).

%v_door_status
0 or Doors Closed is reported once after the door is closed.
1 or Doors Open is reported whenever the door is open.
na or Unknown Door Status is reported all other times.
%frame Displays a value or string indicating whether the tape drive is
%v_frame secured in the ACL cabinet (DST 412).
0 = closed or 1 = open with the following:
0: No Frame Warning - indicates the CHS assembly is secured in
the ACL cabinet.
1: Frame Warning Detected - indicates the tape drive is out of the
frame, that is, the CHS assembly is swung away from the cabinet.
na: Not applicable.
