Hookup Diagrams
In this example, speaker cables with 1/4" ends connect from each 8 Ω speaker output of the amplifier
[Ampeg GVT15H shown] to one of the speaker inputs of each Ampeg GVT112E and/or GVT112EW speaker
enclosures.
WARNING: Always use good quality (non-shielded) speaker cables. Never use (shielded) instrument cables to
connect speakers to an amplifier.
This is a pretty common setup. A speaker cable with 1/4" ends connects from the 16 Ω speaker output of
the amplifier [Ampeg GVT15H shown] to one of the speaker inputs [both inputs are 16 Ω each] of the Ampeg
GVT112E or GVT112EW speaker enclosure.
WARNING: Always use good quality (non-shielded) speaker cables. Never use (shielded) instrument cables to
connect speakers to an amplifier.
