SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Theheatingsurfaceoftheceramicplateisresistanttothermalshock.Itisneitherhotnor
cold-sensitive.
• Avoiddroppingobjectsontheplate.Apointhit,forexampleafallingbottlewithspices,
may in unfavourable circumstances lead to cracks and splits appearing on your ceramic
plate.
• Boiledoverresidualsoffoodmaypenetratethedamagedplacesandgettothelivecom-
ponents of the ceramic plate.
• Shouldcracksorsplitsappearonthesurfaceofyourceramicplateimmediatelydisconnect
it from the mains. In order to do so, switch off the fuse or pull out the mains plug from the
socket. Call the Customer Service.
• Pleaseobservethemaintenanceandcleaningguidelines.Shouldyoufailtoproceedin
compliance with the provided guidelines, you will lose your warranty rights.
• Do not use the surface of the plate as a carving board or a working top.
• Itisrecommendedthatmetalobjectslikeknives,forks,spoonsandlidsarenotleftonthe
ceramic plate as they can become hot.
• Do not t the plate over a cooker without a fan, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer or
washing machine.
