1. MACHINE HOME POSITION
1. The needle bar is in the upper position. The needle ➊ descends to the right side of the throat plate
slot ➋ during the first stitch. The marks ➑ on the
handwheel and cover casting are aligned.
2. The clamp plate ➌ with clamp feet ➍ is in the full forward
position against the adjustable stop ➎. The clamp plate
moves to the rear during the first row of stitching.

2. MAIN CAM ADJUSTMENT
1. Bring the machine to the home position.
2. Tilt the machine on the rest pin and view
the main cam assembly. The distance
between the control spring ➏ and the right
shifter block ➐ is 2 mm.
3. If incorrect - see section E9, point 1.
