THROTTLE CONTROL. Excessive play in throttle
control lever caused by loose throttle control cable.
STEERING. Poor steeri ng ability caused by im-
properly adjusted skis; steering linkage loo se or out
of adjustment. U-bracket bolts on roll bar too tight
or too loose. Spring, U -bracket loose.
BRAKES. Excessive play in handbrakeduetoloose
brake cable or worn pads.
TRACTION BELT. Poor traction; check traction
belt for alignment and tension; worn sprockets or
flipped bogies.
CLUTCH. Automatic clutch fails to engage at

proper RPM's (see figure 21). Check variable-
speed drive belt for proper ten sion and alignment.
