3.3 Main menu overview

Main menu 1. This menu is accessed from all positions by

pressing ESC.

Lamp control. This menu is accessed by turning the dial one step

counter-clockwise from main menu 1. It is used to manually switch

the lamp on/off.

Autozero. Used to zero the UV signal from the monitor.

Eventmark. Used to set eventmarks on the UV curve.

Main menu 2. Used to display pH, temperature (in the conductivity

flow cell) and conductivity in mS/cm as well as in percentage of full

range.

Parameter menus. Used to set measurement parameters for

Cond, pH

and UV.

Check menus. Checking internal operating values.

3.4 Controlling the UV lamp

The Lamp menu is accessed by turning the dial one step

counter-clockwise from main menu 1, and then pressing OK. We

recommend the lamp be switched off to conserve lamp operating

time when no measurement is being made. A warm-up time of 60

minutes is required to achieve full specifications. However, in most

cases, a warm-up time of 15 minutes is sufficient.

Switching the lamp on/off

1 Switch the lamp on/off by moving the cursor with the dial, and

then pressing OK.
