InstallComponents
Checkthecorrugatedsheetsandclosurestripsforproperfitandconfirmyouhaveallthenecessary
installcomponentstocompletetheinstallationbeforebeginning.Mostprojectswillrequireoneor
moreofthefollowinginstallcomponents.
PlasticorFoamClosureStrips:
Plasticorfoamclosurestripsareusedundercorrugatedsheetsasfastener
supports.Horizontalclosurestripscanbeattacheddirectlytopurlinswithfasteners
recommendedforyourapplication.Verticalclosurestripsmaybeusedforfinishing
theoutsideedges,securingthemtotheoutsiderafters.
 Plasticclosurestripsaredurableandmorerigidthanfoamclosures.
 UVprotectedplasticclosurestripsfeatureinterlockingendstomakeinstallationeasy.
 Foamclosuresareflexibleandcanbestretchedslightlytoalignwithpanels,formingacompressionfit.
 Compressingtoformaweather‐tightseal,foamclosuresarere

Flashing:
Dependingonyourstructure,itmaybenecessarytoinstallsometypeofadditionalflashing.
 Forasidewallstructure,apolycarbonateendwallflashingmaybeusedwherethereisalean‐totype
roofslopingawayfromtheverticalwall.
 TopreventleaksatthepeakofatraditionalA‐
shapedroof,itisrecommendedtoinstallan
impactresistant,polycarbonateridgecap.
