Hardware Installation Process
D) IR/CIR (IR/CIR Connectors)
Ø Make sure the pin 1 on the IR device is
aling with pin one connector. To
enable the IR/CIR function on the board,
you are required to purchase an option IR/
CIR module. For detail information, please
contact your autherized Giga-Byte
distributor.
To use IR function only, please connect IR
module to Pin1 to Pin5.

Ø This 2 pin connector allows your system to
enable or disable the system alarm if the sys
tem case begin remove.
K) CLR_CMOS (Clear CMOS)
ØYou may clear the CMOS data to its default
values by this jumper.
Default value doesn’t include the
“Shunter” to prevent from improper use
this jumper. To clear CMOS, temporarily
short 1-2 pin.
