B. MECHANICAL FUNCTIONS
The mechanical functions of the ATN NVM-14 allow for dif-
ferences in the physical features of individual operators and
provide for operating the system. These functions include the
On/Off/On IR control
,
eye relief
(see Section III Mounting Pro-
cedures – Headmount Adjustments),
diopter adjustment
, and
objective lens focus
. These mechanical controls are identi-
fied in Figure 4-3.
