Battery Adapter

Check to make sure battery
adapter is present. Remove
battery adapter and inspect
for corrosion, moisture, cor-
roded or defective contacts,
and that o-ring is present.

Diopter Adjust-
ment Ring
Rotate diopter adjust-
ment ring to make sure the
eyepiece is not too tight or
too loose.

moving freely or

Inspect for dirt, dust, and
cracked or torn cup. Inspect
for bent, broken or improperly
fitting eyecup. If necessary,
clean with water.

Objective Lens

Rotate objective lens focus
ring to ensure free move-
ment.

Inspect for cracked, torn, or
missing lens cap.
