Dehumidification Control
If the dehumidification control has been enabled, the communicating Comfort Control attempts to
control to this dehumidification setpoint by turning on the air conditioner. In extremely high humidity
conditions, Comfort Control keeps the air conditioner running for up to 3°F below your temperature
setpoint. It does this when trying to achieve your desired humidity setpoint and balance that with
your temperature setpoint.
NOTE: If auto changeover is selected, the deadband can be no closer than 5 degrees with
dehumidification enabled.
American Standard Proprietary Humidity Control
When enabled, this feature will disable any blower off delays and disable continuous fan mode when
the indoor humidity is above the dehumidification setpoint. This will help prevent coil condensation
from being evaporated back into the air stream.
