Appendix
Remote Computer Communication (RS-232)
2. Start a terminal
emulator program on
the remote computer.
As an example, this
procedure will use the
HyperTerminal
program running on a
Windows machine.
3. Choose File > New
Connection and in the resulting
screen field, enter a name for the
connection. Click on OK.
4. From the Con
nect using: pull-
down menu, select the appropriate
COM port and click OK.
