10. Configure the System Output.
a. Position the cursor at the cross point of the
Alarm column and System Output Number
row.
b. Press Enter (Shot) to cycle through the
possible selections: 1 (energized), 2
(energized), or 0 (no relay selected).
c. When the correct system output state is
displayed, press Next to advance to the next
field.
11. Configure the Link setting.
a. Position the cursor at the cross point of the
Alarm column and Link row.
b. Press Enter (Shot) to cycle through the
choices:

No. Does not link to the next
consecutive alarm contact.
Y
Yes. Links to the next consecutive
alarm contact.
S
Salvo. Displays the system salvo
indicated in the Video Selection
field in response to an alarm
contact.
W
Wired Set. Set of alarm contacts
configured such that if any member
of the set is activated, all members
of the set will be activated.

Wired Group Acknowledge.
Indicates the alarm contact entry is
a member of a wired set. When the
alarm is manually acknowledged,
all members of the wired set will be
cleared.
c. When the appropriate choice is displayed,
press Next to advance to the next field.
12. When finished making changes, press Exit
(Pattern) to return to the previous menu.
Associating Alarms to Monitors
Use Associate Alarms to Monitors to configure
specific alarm types to display on specific monitors.

Each of the four alarm types (patch panel, RS-232,
dome, and video loss) can have up to 10
monitor/alarm tables that can be programmed for
different associations appropriate for different times
of day. These tables are linked to times through the
Switching/Event Timers menu.
Once an alarm type is selected for configuration, a
screen similar to the following is displayed.
