To program a system tour:
1. Select a tour to program.
a. Move the cursor to the tour number line of the
menu.
b. Enter the tour number (1-64) and press Enter
(Shot).
2. Enter a camera, salvo or tour number.
a. Move the cursor to the cross point of the CAM
column and the appropriate entry row.
b. Enter the camera, salvo, or tour number and
press Enter (Shot).
3. Set a dwell time for the entry.
a. Move the cursor to the cross point of the DWL
column and the appropriate entry row.
b. Enter the dwell time (00-61) and press Enter
(Shot).
• Use 1-60 to display the entry for the
specified number of seconds
• Use 61 to hold the entry when displayed.
• Use 00 to skip an entry or when the
previous Connect Next (CN) field is set to
Y.
4. Set the function to call a preset or pattern.
a. Move the cursor to the cross point of the
FUNCT column and the appropriate entry
row.
b. Press Enter (Shot) to toggle between PR
(preset) and PT (pattern). When the
appropriate function is displayed, press
NEXT.
c. Enter the preset (1-96) or pattern (1-3)
number for the entry. A zero entry indicates
no preset or pattern.
Note: If the Connect Next field is set to S
(salvo) or T (tour), a zero value must be
entered for a preset or pattern.
d. Press Enter (Shot).
5. Set an auxiliary action.
a. Move the cursor to the cross point of the AUX
column and the appropriate entry row.
b. Press Enter (Shot) to display the auxiliary
options:
1 = 1 ON 5 = 1 OFF
2 = 2 ON 6 = 2 OFF
3 = 3 ON 7 = 3 OFF
4 = 4 ON 8 = 0 – (no action)
Note: If the Connect Next field is set to S
(salvo) or T (tour), do not enter an auxiliary
action.
c. Press Next when the correct setting is
displayed.
6. Set the connect next selection.
a. Move the cursor to the cross point of the CN
column and the appropriate row entry.
b. Press Enter (Shot) to display the connect
next options or enter the number for the
appropriate selection and press Enter (Shot).
1=N
No link or last member of a CN salvo
2=Y
Connect to next entry in a CN salvo
3=S
Call a pre-programmed system salvo
4=T
Call a pre-programmed system tour
7. Repeat steps 2 through 6 to program additional
tour entries. When finished making changes,
press Exit (Pattern) to return to the previous
menu.
Programming System Salvos
MP48 supports 64 salvos that are programmed to
include 16 cameras on a contiguous group of
monitors. Use System Salvos to configure the
specific details for the salvos.

Entry: Refers to the order of the
cameras displayed on the contiguous
monitors.
Cam
Camera: Identifies the camera or
salvo number associated with each
entry
Funct
Function: Represents a preset (PR)
or pattern (PT) that is run for the entry
if a camera is selected.
