Changing Keyboard Priority Levels
1. Enter the keyboard number (1-32), and press
Enter (Shot).
2. Enter the Priority Level (1-8), and press Enter
(Shot) to save.
Note: Priority levels are individually configurable.
In general, “8” should represent the highest
priority level; “1” should represent the lowest
priority level. Keyboards with higher priority
levels can capture control of cameras from
keyboards with lower priority levels.
3. When finished making changes, press Exit
(Pattern) to return to the previous menu.
Configuring Priority Settings
Use Priority to configure settings relating to system
functions that a user or keyboard may perform.

The following settings are available:

Y (Yes): New users can be added.
N (No): New users cannot be added.
System
Reset
Y (Yes): System reset allowed via
keyboard commands.
N (No): System reset not allowed via
keyboard commands.
Lock Cam
Ability
Y (Yes): Lock camera control
allowed.
N (No): Lock camera control not
allowed.
Setting Description/Options
Override
Y (Yes): Override of
keyboard/camera view and control
partitioning restrictions allowed.
N (No): Override of keyboard/camera
view and control partitioning
restrictions not allowed.
Menu
Access
Y (Yes): Access to programming
menus allowed.
N (No): Access to programming
menus not allowed.
Note: Menu Access must be
enabled to access the Change
Parameters setting.
Change
Parameters
Y (Yes): Changing system
parameters allowed through the
menus.
N (No): Changing system
parameters not allowed through the
menus. Menus can only be viewed.
To configure a priority level:
1. Move the cursor to the Level menu item.
2. Enter the priority level number (1-8), and press
Enter (Shot).
3. Move the cursor to the menu item you want to
change. Press Enter (Shot) to change the
setting.
4. Repeat step 3 for each setting you want to
change.
5. When finished making changes, press Exit
(Pattern) to return to the previous menu.
