Changing Camera Settings
The Camera menu is used to assign pseudo-
numbering to cameras, to program camera titles
and preset titles, and to set up camera video loss
detection.

Assigning Pseudo-Numbering to
Cameras
Use Pseudo to assign “substitute” numbers to use
when selecting cameras.

0004 1004
0005 0005
0006 0006
0007 0001
The “real” camera numbers are based on video
input connection points. The pseudo numbers
permits assignment of any numerical value from 1 to
9999 for any camera input. The Pseudo Number
menu has multiple pages, with 12 camera numbers
appearing on each page. Use Page Down (Iris
Open) and Page Up (Iris Close) to scroll through the
list of cameras.
IMPORTANT! On a system reset, all pseudo
numbers are reset to the real (default) camera
numbers.
To assign or change a Pseudo Camera Number:
1. Enter the Real # and press Page Up (Iris Close)
or Page Down (Iris Open).
2. Enter the Pseudo number (1-9999), and press
Enter (Shot).
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each pseudo camera
number you want to assign.
4. Press Exit (Pattern) to return to the previous
menu when finished making changes.
Note: If a pseudo number is the same as a real
camera number, the system switches the two
camera numbers. For example, assigning pseudo
number 0025 to real camera number 0001
automatically assigns pseudo number 0001 to real
camera number 0025.
Changing Camera Titles and

a title to the selected camera.
