Changing System Options
Use System Options to configure settings
associated with user IDs, peripheral interface, and
logging system and alarm status.

LOG STATUS - ON
LOG ALARMS - ON
The following settings can be changed:
Setting Options
User IDs
Enabled: User IDs must be entered to
use the keyboard
Disabled: User IDs are not required
Peripheral
Interface
Port 1 - 8: Video recorder control
supported on specific port listed
Disabled: Video recorder control not
supported
Log
Status
On: System status is logged
Off: System status is not logged
Log
Alarms
On: System alarms are logged
Off: System alarms are not logged
To change the settings:
1. Move the cursor to the setting you want to
change.
2. Press Enter (Shot) to change the setting.
3. Press Exit (Pattern) to return to the previous
menu when finished making changes.
Changing Time and Date
Settings
Use Time and Date to configure settings associated
with year and date format, current date, and time.

DATE FORMAT - MM/DD/ YY- YYYY
MONTH - 01
DAY - 0 1
YEAR - 2003
TI ME - 13: 16: 45
The following settings can be changed:

Format
YY: Display 2-digit year
YYYY: Display 4-digit year
Date
Format
MM/DD/YY: Month/Day/Year
DD/MM/YY (YYYY): Day/Month/Year
YY (YYYY)/MM/DD: Year/Month/Day
Month
01-12: 2-digit month identifier
Day
01-31: 2-digit day identifier
Year
00-99: 4-digit year display; only last 2
digits may be changed
Time
Current time in hours, minutes, and
seconds in 24-hour format
00-24: Hour
00-59: Minute
00-59: Seconds
To change the settings:
1. Move the cursor to the setting you want to
change.
2. Do one of the following:
• Press Enter (Shot) to change the Year
Format and Date Format settings.
• Enter the number and press Enter to change
the Month, Day, Year, and Time settings.
3. Press Exit (Pattern) to return to the previous
menu when finished making changes.
