Working in Menu Mode

Note: The keyboard lock must be disabled to use
this feature. To disable the keyboard lock, see
Unlock/Lock the Keyboard on page 14.
The Menu button allows you to view the main menu
of the attached switching system. When the main
menu for the switching system has been displayed,
the functions associated with the multi-function keys
are enabled. Table 10 lists the multi-function keys.
When you complete using the main menu, press
Menu. The multi-function buttons return to their
normal operating mode.
To view the menus:
1. Select a text display monitor (1-8) for viewing the
menus, and place the monitor on Hold.
IMPORTANT! Do not select a monitor that is
running a tour or salvo, or a monitor that is in an
alarm condition.
2. Press Menu.
3. If User IDs are enabled, enter the passcode for
the current user to access the menus.
Once the menu is displayed, the appropriate
functions on the multi-function keys are used for
operating the menus.
Note: The menu functions are printed beneath the
primary key function names on the ADTTE keypad
appliqué.

Note: The Tracker Ball may also be used to change
the cursor position.
IMPORTANT! To store data in Menu mode, you
may press Enter (Shot) or Ack to end the
sequence.
Exiting from the Menu System
The user can exit from any menu, or exit from the
menu system at any time.
