Configuring Stored Audio
When connected to an appropriate device, the unit is capable of playing back stored audio when an
alarm has been triggered. A maximum of five audio files can be uploaded to the unit.
Note:Audio clips can only be used if a micro SD Card has been installed. Refer to the relevant Quick
Reference Guide for information on installing the micro SD Card.
When uploading an audio file it must meet the following requirements:
The filename cannot contain spaces.
It must be a wav’ file with a ‘.wav extension.
A single channel mono file with a bit depth of 16kHz.
The sample rate must be 8kHz.
The duration must be no longer than 20 seconds.

1 Select Setup on the Web User Interface banner to display the setup menus.
2 Select Audio from the System menu.
3 Select the Audio Clips tab.
4 Select to play back the corresponding audio file.

Procedure 162 Upload an Audio File
Step Action
1 Select Setup on the Web User Interface banner to display the setup menus.
2 Select Audio from the System menu.
3 Select the Audio Clips tab.
4 Select Browse.
The Choose file dialog displays.
5 Navigate to the location where the audio file has been saved.
Select the audio file then select the Open button.

6 Select Upload.
7 You will be prompted to confirm that you would like to upload the audio file.
