Monochrome Video-Switching Unit Problems
Problem Description Possible Solution
No video on monitor. • Check that the monitor is powered on and adjusted.
• Check the camera lens adjustments (iris).
• Check video connections from camera(s) to the
video-switching unit.
• Check video connections from video-switching unit
to the monitor.
Cannot access menu
displays.
• Verify that the video-switching unit is not in VCR
playback mode.
• Verify that Call output is connected to the monitor.
Quad display not shown
in automatic sequences.
• Verify that Quad is included in RUN sequence.
Quad display is frozen
and will not unfreeze.
• Verify that alarm inputs are not active/closed.
