Add New Protocol
New general purpose protocols can be created and configured from the General Purpose
Interface. This is the language used to communicate with the device.
Protocols are established via a dynamic process which combines match criteria, keywords and
character positioning. Individual message protocols then get combined with monitoring points to
identify state changes in the General Purpose Device.
Optionally, acknowledgement messages can be associated and transmitted with the monitoring
point.
