Interlock not depressed. Depress interlock before activating control lever. Defective switch / bad connection. Contact an authorized American Sanders Dealer. Low voltage from excessive length or undersized extension cord. Use a 12 Ga. extension cord, not to exceed 50 feet (15m) length. Defective start capacitor.
