Mirroring
Youcanmirrortrafficfromanysourceporttoatargetportforreal‐time
analysis.YoucanthenattachalogicanalyzerorRMONprobetothetarget
portandstudythetrafficcrossingthesourceportinacompletely
unobtrusivemanner.
MirrorConfigurationistomon itorthetrafficof
thenetwork.Forexample,
weassumethatPortAandPortBareMonitoringPortandMonitored
Portrespectively,thus,thetrafficreceivedbyPortBwillbecopiedtoPort
Aformonitoring.
