abnormal conditions, such as a power outage. If you enable this, it is recommended that you add
a fan for the hard disk because of the additional heat that will be generated.
If you disable this function, video clips will be saved in memory and saved to disk based on your
settings in Camera configuration Recording File (see Chapter 7-2). However, if the
system shuts down abnormally, all clips not saved to disk will be lost.
Start to erase when free space less than Will start to free space on your hard disk when only a
certain amount of space is left on your hard disk. Older files are erased first.
Space to erase each time This specifies the amount of disk space to free when the above limit is
reached. Older files are erased first. As an example, if 1200 MB is entered, 1200MB will be
erased when the limit is reached.
