Electrical outlets and switches

17) Ensure your electrical outlet and switch placement is designed

prior to starting your project.

18) Place the electric wire behind the bottom plates prior to

installing any vertical corner studs. Attach the placed electric

wire to each vertical stud as they are being installed by using

code approved electrical staples

19) Electric outlets and switch boxes are secured to the vertical

studs according to the local building code. Place the

electric wire in the outlet or switch box.

20) To place the IWP where the outlet or switch is placed,

measure the dimensions of the electric box, using a jib saw

(or hand saw) cut this dimension from the panel. This cut

will be on either side of the IWP to match the vertical stud

and electric box placement.

21) Ceiling installation either traditional drywall or ceiling

panels can now be completed.
