397 VLDT Maximum Current Specification Exceeded on

HyperTransport™ Links in Retry Mode

Description

HyperTransport™ links in retry mode may exceed the 1.4 A per link VLDT maximum current

(ILDT) specification.

Potential Effect on System

The processor may exceed the design of the power subsystem, resulting in over-current conditions

that can lead to a shutdown or voltage droop.
