5. Driver and software features
To promote usability with PACS applications, the VirtualView window has a visibility setting. In the Diag-
nostic visibility mode (default), the window will appear on the top of all other windows, and in the Admin-
istrative visibility mode, the window may be hidden by other windows, including the PACS software.
The virtual display window has Minimize, Maximize, Restore,andClose buttons.
Clicking the Minimize button reduces the window to an icon on the Task Bar, and clicking on the icon
will restore the window to its previous size and location.
Clicking the Maximize button resizes the window to the largest size possible on that physical display
while maintaining aspect ratio, and that button will change to Restore.
Clicking on the Restore button returns the maximized window to its previous size and location.
Clicking the Close button does not terminate the VirtualView feature. It hides the window, and when
shown again, it will appear in the default size.
5.8.3 Conguration
Conguring VirtualView th rough Windows
The VirtualView virtual display can be controlled as a regular display through the Windows Display Control
Panel. Open the Control Panel, select Display, and select Screen Resolution or right click on the desktop
a select Screen Resolution.
To enable VirtualView, click on the virtual display and from the Multiple displays drop down box, select
Extend The Desktop To This Display. To disable it, from the Multiple displays drop down box select
Disconnect This Display.
The virtual display resolution and location on the Windows desktop can also be changed in the control
panel in the same method as normal displays. VirtualView supports portrait and landscape resolutions up
to 1200 X 1920 portrait (1920 x 1200 for landscape).
Conguring VirtualView through Systray
Click on the BarcoView Systray icon and select VirtualView tobringupitsconguration options. In Win-
dows 7, the conguration options are also accessible through the Start Menu.
Enable VirtualView: This enables VirtualView and brings the window to the desktop. This is the same
as extending it though the control panel.
Disable VirtualView: This disables VirtualView. This is the same as disconnecting it though the con-
trol panel.
Congure Hotkey: This prompts the user for a new VirtualView hotkey.
Congure Visibility: This shows a dialog box to choose between Diagnostic and Administrative
visibility modes.
Reset Size: This resets the VirtualView window to 1-to-1 scaling.
5.9 SteadyColor
5.9.1 Description
Overview
The Barco Coronis Uniti system registers an ICC prole with Windows so an ICC-aware application can
control the precise color it renders to the Coronis Uniti display. The Barco SteadyColor Presentation
Manager can adjust the color prole of other applications that are not ICC-aware. It can also adjust the
luminance of application windows.
