Please read all enclosed safety precautions before
connecting or operating this product.
V
erify L
ine Voltage and Amperage: Your new
MB² Series Bass am
plifier has been factory con-
figured for use wi
th the specific line voltage for
your l
ocation:
120 Vol
t/60Hz 15 A circuit for USA/Canada.
240 Vol
t/(50/60Hz) 10 A circuit for
UK/Austra
lia.
230 Vol
t/(50/60Hz) 10 A circuit for Europe.
100 Vol
t/50Hz 15 A circuit for Japan.
220 Vol
t/50Hz 10 A circuit for Korea.
Proper AC circuit f
or all other countries.
Co
nnecting the amplifier to a line with specifi-
cations o
ther than indicated above can create safety
and fire ha
zard, and may damage the amplifier.
If y
ou have any questions about the voltage
require
ments for your specific model, or ab
out the
line vol
tage in your area, contact your dealer
bef
ore plugging the unit into a wall outlet.
Verify AC Circuit Capacity Before Use:
The high p
ower output of your amplifier may
require h
eavy current draw under full-load con-
di
tions. To insure proper performance and avoid
potent
ial safety hazards, we recommend connec-
tion to line circuits with amperage specified “as
above”. C
onnecting to the same circuit used by
other heav
y-power devices, such as high-wattage
lights, may cause circuit b
reakers to trip. It is
always a good idea to avoid using any audio equip-
ment on the same AC circuit as equipment with
motors, such as air conditioners or refrigerators.
This will lessen the possibility of power vari
ation
and e
lectrical start-up noise affecting your sound.
Please refer to page 10 for more instruc-
tions concerning installation.
AC Power Cord:
To a
void safety hazards, use only the power cord
su
pplied with your unit. If a replacement cord is
needed, make cert
ain to use a standard IEC
compliant cord. D
amaged power cords should
be repl
aced immediately. When setting up, make
certain that the AC plug is easily a
ccessible. If you
donotintend to use t
he amplifier for a considerable
length of t
ime, disconnect the plug from the AC
Main
s Socket. Do not use an extention cord.
Earth Grou
nding Connection:
To prevent e
lectric shock, do not remove the
grounding plug on the power cord, or use any plug
or extension co
rd that does not have a grounding
plug p
rovided. Make certain that the AC outlet
is p
roperly grounded as w
ell. Do not use an
adapter plug w
ith this product.
Do Not Open the Amplifier Enclosure:
There are no user serviceable parts inside this
product. Opening the amplifier enclosure may
present a shock ha
zard. Modification to the
product w
ill void your warranty. If liquid
enters the unit, or any m
etal object such as a
paper c
lip accidentally falls inside the enclo-
sure, disco
nnect the unit from the AC power
source i
mmediately and consult an authorized
service s
tation.
Set
up:
To insure pro
per operation and to avoid
potential safety hazards, place the unit on a firm,
level surfa
ce. Do not plug or unplug the
instru
ment or speaker cable while the amplifier
power is on.
H
eat & Ventilation:
M
ake sure there is s
pace provided for proper
ventilation. Av
oid using in extremely hot or
cold l
ocations and areas that are exposed to
direct su
nlight or near heating equipment. Avoid
using in moist or high humidity areas.
NEVER
BLOCK T
HE FAN VENT HOLES ON
THE SIDES OF THE UNIT.
