When the 3ware Driver/Firmware Update dialog box appears, it shows
available updates for the device driver and for the firmware.

If either your driver or firmware is current, the screen reflects that.

The updater tells you
whether newer updates
are available, and makes
recommendations for
whether you should
update.
In this example, both the
driver and firmware are
already current on the
system, so the
recommendation is not to
update either one.
