7. After you initiate the creation process, click Close.The cluster might take several minutes to be

ready to use.

You can monitor the status of the operation in the performance dashboard.

Modifying a Cluster

You can modify the following configuration options for an existing cluster:

• Cluster Identifier

• Cluster Parameter Group

• VPC Security Groups

• Master User Password

• HSM Connection

• HSM Client Certificate

• Automated Snapshot Retention Period

• Maintenance Window Start

• Maintenance Window End

All of these changes take effect only after the cluster is restarted.
