Sending messages is just as easy. Begin by tapping the Compose button on the email app menu and entering the
email address of your intended recipient. Multiple recipients can be added using the Cc/Bcc button. When writing an
email on your Kindle Fire, remember to enter a Subject and also be aware that you can Save Draft as you write the
message, useful when writing longer emails. Note also that the Attach button enables the sending of les with your
message.

When you’re happy with your email message, tap Send!
7.2 Further Email Settings
There are various additional settings that you should be aware of in the Kindle Fire email app. The rst is the Check
for messages button, found in the center of the menu bar, which overrides the default email checking period to collect
new messages from your email server. You will also notice that there is a Search tool on the menu bar, specically for
nding particular messages in your inbox. Also don’t miss the sorting options in the top-right corner, which by default
displays Newest but enables you to sort your inbox by many other headings such as Sender, Subject and even by At-
tachments.
On the menu bar you will also see the menu button. Here you will nd a list of Contacts associated with the account
(typically for Gmail, Hotmail and similar web-based email accounts) which has been synced to your device and a Fold-
ers button to display locations such as your Outbox and Sent Items.
The Settings button, meanwhile, displays some advanced choices for the currently viewed account. You can change
the Account name if necessary, and toggle whether or not it is the Default account.
Elsewhere, you can decide whether your emails should Always show imagesNo is a useful option if you’re prone
to receiving the occasional spam message, although From contacts and From anyone can also be selected.
Under the heading Fetching mail you will nd a range of options concerning how your messages should be treated.
