Download & Pair the Fire TV Remote App

Download the Fire TV Remote App to your compatible device and pair it with your Fire TV Stick to use it as

an alternate remote.

The Fire TV Remote App is available on:

•

Amazon Fire phone

•

Fire Tablets

•

Android devices running Android 4.0 or higher

Note: The app is not available for iPhone or iPad.

To download the Fire TV Remote App, go to the Amazon or Android Appstore from any compatible device

and search for "Fire TV Remote App." Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.

To pair the Fire TV Remote App with your Fire TV Stick:

1. Connect to the same Wi-Fi network as your Fire TV Stick.

2. Launch the app and select the Fire TV device you want to pair with.

3. In the app, enter the code that is displayed on your TV screen. The app is now paired with your Fire TV

Stick.

Note: Once you pair the Fire TV Remote App with your Fire TV Stick, you cannot unpair it. However, if you reset your

Fire TV Stick, all paired devices will be removed. To block access to a paired device, you can also change your Wi-Fi

network password.
