5. MAXIMUM DATA RATE CONFIGURATION
1. If the average RSSI reading using the Average RSSI Continuous Display is
lower than 76, the default data rate of 3 Mbps is too high and the data rate of
the unit should be configured accordingly:
2. From the main menu, type 3 to access the Basic Configuration menu. Type 5
to access the Maximum Data Rate menu.
i) Type 3 (3Mbps) if the RSSI reading is higher than 76 units.
ii) Type 2 (2Mbps) if the RSSI reading is between 66 to 76 units.
iii) Type 1 (1Mbps) if the RSSI reading is lower than 66 units.
3. Reset the unit for the new configuration to become effective.
