3.4.2.3.8 Testing Connectivity to an IP Interface
To test connectivity to an IP interface, perform a ping test using the following
command:
npu# ping <ip-address> [timeout <seconds(1-15)>] [count
<count(1-20)>]

IMPORTANT
An error may occur if the specified IP address does not match any of the available IP interfaces.
