Connecting a Hub to the CX
To connect a hub to the CX, use a straight-through cable, as shown in
Figure A-1

o establish which pin is pin number 1, hold the cable so that the end T
of the plastic RJ 45 tip, which is the part that inserts first into the wall
jack, is facing away from you. Flip the clip so that the copper side faces
up. The springy clip is facing down and parallel to the floor. When
looking down on the coppers, pin 1 is on the far left.
