Chapter 2 - Installation Installing the ODU of the PRO CPE
BreezeMAX PRO 5000 CPE 23 Product Manual
1 The seal has a special groove allowing to insert an ethernet cable with an
already assembled RJ-45 connector. Strip the cable sheath and crimp the
RJ-45 plug.
2 Insert the cable with the assembled connector through the sealing nut.
3 To expose the groove, lightly squeeze the seal. Carefully insert the cable
through the groove.
4 Insert the cable through the housing and insert the seal at the back end of the
housing.
5 Tighten the sealing nut onto the housing.
6 Stricken the gasket on the front end of the housing.
7 Connect the Ethernet cable to the IDU COM RJ-45 connector and tighten the
sealing cap.
8 Route the cable to the location selected for the indoor equipment.
9 Assemble an RJ-45 connector with a protective cover on the indoor end of the
IDU-ODU cable. Refer to the pin assignment and color codes in standard
cables described above.
