4.8.3 Disable ATPC and Set Tx Power
Select this option to temporarily disable ATPC for testing purposes. You will be
prompted to enter the requested Tx Power. The minimum Tx Power is -26 dBm.
The maximum depends on the unit’s type and band.
The default Tx Power is the last power level used before the ATPC algorithm was
disabled.
Upon completing the test, enable ATPC to resume normal operation. If not enabled
manually, ATPC will be enabled automatically after the next reset or following
termination of the Telnet session.
4.8.4 Continuous Transmission Menu
The Continuous Transmission Menu enables activating continuous transmission
of specific signals for special testing purposes. The continuous transmission mode
cannot be activated when the SU has either started a network entry process or is
already synchronized with a Base Station.
The Continuous Transmission Menu includes the following options:
4.8.4.1 Transmission Type
The available Transmission Types are CW (Continuous Wave, or carrier only) and
OFDM.
4.8.4.2 Transmission Duration
The Transmission Duration from 0 to 536 seconds. 0 means the unit will transmit
continuously until it will be reset. After 15 minutes the unit will be reset
automatically.
4.8.4.3 Transmission Tx Power
The Transmission Tx Power in dBm according to the range supported by the
tested unit.
4.8.4.4 Transmission Frequency [MHz]
The Transmission Frequency in MHz according to the range supported
4.8.4.5 Start Transmission
Selected this option to start the continuous transmission test using the
configured test parameters.
