Intermediate Step Mask (Actual)
Discrete Frequencies (or “No discrete frequency configured”): The discrete
frequencies (if any) configured in the SU, to be used in the scanning process in
addition to the frequencies defined by the Frequency Scanning parameters.
Discrete Frequencies are configurable only locally at the SU.
4.9.7.3.11.2 Update
The Update menu enables configuration of the following parameters (changes in
Frequency Scanning parameters take effect only after reset):
4.9.7.3.11.2.1Start Rx Frequency (MHz)
The lowest frequency in the range of frequencies to be scanned.
The available values depend on the frequency range defined by the Frequency
Bands belonging to the applicable Frequency Bands Group (see Section 4.7.5)
4.9.7.3.11.2.2End Rx Frequency (MHz)
The highest frequency in the range of frequencies to be scanned.
The available values depend on the frequency range defined by the Frequency
Bands belonging to the applicable Frequency Bands Group (see Section 4.7.5)
4.9.7.3.11.2.3Scanning Main Step (KHz)
The Main Scanning Step, that together with the Scan Step Mask define the
frequencies to be scanned between the Start and End Rx Frequencies.
For a Bandwidth of 3.5 MHz, the range is from 125 KHz to 1750 KHz, in steps of
125 KHz.
For a Bandwidth of 5 MHz, the range is from 125 KHz to 5000 KHz, in steps of 125
KHz.
4.9.7.3.11.2.4Scan Step Mask
The Scan Step Mask includes up to 8 entries of numbers between 1 to 8, that
defined the intermediate scanning steps as described above.
