3.3.2.3.2 Shutting down/Enabling an IP Interface
To shut-down an IP interface, run the following command:
npu(config-if)# shutdown
Run the following command to enable the interface:
npu(config-if)# no shutdown
3.3.2.3.3 Assigning an IP address to an interface
Run the following command to assign an IP address and subnet mask for an IP
interface:
npu(config-if)# ip address <ip-address> <subnet-mask>
