• The maximum length of the Baseband
cable, between the Indoor and the Outdoor
unit, should not exceed 30 meters.
• Select an appropriate location for the Indoor
unit. The Indoor unit should be installed in a
place that is as close as possible to the exit
point of the cable connecting it to the
Outdoor unit. The selection of location of
the Indoor unit should also take into account
the need to connect it to a power outlet and
to the user’s PC (or LAN).
• The unit is designed to withstand rain and
humidity. However, it is not designed to
withstand immersion in water and it
should not be installed in a place where

Note: The SU-O Outdoor unit comes with a sun-guard mounted on its rear
side. This accessory can be removed by unscrewing the attaching screws,
and can be installed on the front side if necessary. A second, optional
sun-guard can be ordered for assembly on the front cover. The second
sun-guard is recommended for installations where both the front and the
back of the Outdoor unit may be exposed to direct sunlight. Contact your
