General

The General page provides information about the KN9000’s status:

Device Name To make it easier to manage installations with more than one

KN9000, each one can be given a name. To assign a name for

this KN9000, erase the current name and key in one of your

choosing (15 characters max.).

Main Firmware Version Indicates the mainboard’s current firmware version level.

Java Program Version Indicates the current version level of the KN9000’s Java

Client access software.

I/O Module Indicates whether the KN9000 is configured with a PS/2 or

USB interface for the Console and CPU Ports.

Version

Indicates the current firmware version level for the I/O

Module.

New versions of the KN9000’s firmware and authentication software can be

dowloaded from our web site as they become available, (see p. 24 for details).
