F4 ADM:
F4 allows the Administrator to configure and control the overall operation of
the OSD. After you select an item from the ADM menu, a submenu with fur-
ther choices appears. An icon indicates which choice is currently selected .
The setting options are explained in the following table:
Setting Function
SET
USERNAME
AND
PASSWORD
This function sets Usernames and Passwords for the Administrator
and four Users. After selecting the Administrator field or one of the
User fields, a screen that allows you to key in a username and
password appears:
1. Key in a unique username and password. The username and
password may be up to 15 characters, and can consist of any
combination of letters and numbers.
2. Re-enter the password in the Confirm field, then press [Enter].
To modify or delete a previous Username and/or Password, use the
Backspace key to erase unwanted characters.
The Administrator must enter Usernames and Passwords for all four
Users - even if there are less than four Users. If this isn’t done, any
user can log in without entering a Username and Password.
In case the Administrator forgets his password, or if it becomes
corrupted, refer to the Clear Login Information section, p. 51.
