Overview:
LPS3AC linear power supply/charger converts a low voltage AC input to a 12VDC/24VDC output. This power supply is
specifically designed to provide the power needed by the most demanding security and access control applications.

Note: Transformers with higher VA ratings may be used.
Installation Instructions:
TheLPS3ACshouldbeinstalledinaccordancewithTheNationalElectricalCodeandallapplicableLocalRegulations.
1. MountLPS3ACinthedesiredlocation/enclosure.
2. Set DC output voltage using switch SW2 (Fig. 1) (refer to Voltage Output/Transformer Selection Chart).
3. ConnectpropertransformertotheterminalsmarkedAC(refer to Voltage Output/Transformer Selection Chart).
CAUTION: Do not touch exposed metal parts. Shut branch circuit power before installing or servicing equipment.
There are no user serviceable parts inside. Refer installation and servicing to qualified service personnel.
4. Measureoutputvoltagebeforeconnectingdevices.Thishelpsavoidingpotentialdamage.
5. Connectdevicestobepoweredtotheterminalsmarked[----DC+].
6. Whentheuseofstand-bybatteriesisdesired,theymustbeleadacidorgeltype.
Connectbatterytotheterminalsmarked[+BAT---]ontheunit(batteryleadsincluded).
Usetwo(2)12VDCbatteriesconnectedinseriesfor24VDCoperation.
7. Whenbatteriesarenotused,alossofACwillresultinthelossofoutputvoltage.
8. Connectsupervisorytroublereportingdevicestotheoutputsmarked[ACFail].
