INSTALLING YOUR INTERFACE 6
Step 1. Please attach the MX2100AV Interface
on the rack using the optional TM
Series ALTINEX mounting brackets,
through two screens on each side of the
MX2100AV.
Step 2. Using the 9V AC/DC adapter, connect
power to the MX2100AV. The power
supply used in the MX2100AV power
outlet. When power is connected, the
power indicator LED on the front panel
of the MX2100AV should turn RED. The
LED on the front and back panel of the
MX2100AV will light GREEN if the
appropriate input signal is present.
Step 3. Connect the cables from the video
sources (computers) to the appropriate
input channels. Connect the output
channels to the display devices
(monitors or projectors).
Step 4. Connect the cables from the audio
sources (stereo) to the appropriate input
channels. Connect the output channels
to the audio sources (amplifier,
speakers, etc.).
Step 6. Set POWER UP DEFAULT switches
according to Table 6.
OPERATION 7
1) Connect video and audio sources according to
the Application Diagram in section 5, page 7.
2) Set POWER UP DEFAULT switches to the
position depending on which input needs to
switch first as the default setting or set the unit
to the default setting using AUTO switch mode
when power is connected. Remember that only
one of the following switches can be turned
"ON" simultaneously: IN1, IN2, and AUTO
3) Turn the LOOP IN1 switch "ON" if output 1
needs to follow output 2.
4) Using the display connected to output 2, select
input 1 and adjust image by output using
equalization knob 1. Then select input 2 and
adjust the image, using knob 2.
The factory default settings are shown below in
Table 6.
