Trunk Configuration
Quantum Trunk General Configuration
Parameter Description
Interface Type Select from:
• Loop Start
• Ground Start
• DID (Wink Start)—available only if the
selected trunk is a DID trunk
Impedance
The resistance of electrical current to alternating
current, measured in OHMs. Impedance occurs
when power or signal is transferredfrom one circuit
to another. The setting options are:
• 600 OHMs (domestic setting)
• 900 OHMs (international setting, depending
on the country)

Incoming Ring
Type
Select single or double.
Centrex Flash
Duration (ms)
Specifies the Flash Duration time in milliseconds,
with a range from 50 ms to 1000 ms. This setting
complements the Centrex Flash Support option in
the General window for the trunk.
Detect Trunk
Status By Loop
Current
When selected, causes detection of the Quantum
trunk status using a loop current.
Enable Caller
ID Receive
Select for user to receive caller ID digits.
Out of Service
With Trunk
Seizure
When selected, if the trunk is set to Out of Service,
the Quantum service provider will busy out (seize)
the trunk. The CO will treat this trunk as a busy line
and WILL NOT place a call to this trunk. (By
default, this option is unchecked.)
