CPU, Memory, and HDD Requirements
The following table lists the minimum requirements for a single system.
AltiGen’s Alti-Office3G chassis is the only supported AltiGateway platform. The following table
lists the configuration of the Alti-Office3G.
The total number of AltiGateways supported in this release is three. In a multi-chassis
configuration, only Alti-Office3G can be used as a Softswitch system.
Preparation for Installation
Before you start installing AltiWare, you need the following:
• Windows Update—Make sure your server has the recommended Windows Service
Pack or Update.
• AltiWare 5.2 CD ROM—The AltiWare CD ROM that contains the AltiWare 5.2
programs.
• AltiWare latest update—Check to see if there is an Update available to the
AtliWare 5.2 Release.
• System Key—The system key is a DB-25 parallel port hardware security device that
allows the software to run ONLY when that system key is attached to the parallel
port of the server that AltiWare is running on. (By special order, your system key
may be a USB key.)
